Chicago Transit Authority Red Line Wilson Station Reconstruction

Regina Webster & Associates is a subconsultant to Parsons Engineering to provide transportation engineering services for the reconstruction of the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Red Line Wilson Station. James Sturrock serves as the Project Manager for a traffic study to determine the efficiency of user flow to and from the ground entrances to the elevated rail platform. The adequacy of queuing areas on the platform and at the ground-level bus stops utilized by station users is also being evaluated. The scope of work includes field data collection, demand forecasting, and data input of peak hour conditions. RWA staff conducted manual pedestrian counts on the station platform, station access points, and the adjacent intersection and bus stops.
